Amazing Place and Great Hosts!!! - It is such an amazing place, full of natural beauty and peace. We went for our anniversary. Rooms are excellent and well decorated. Hosts are lovely people who take care of you like family. There are so many great places to see nearby including vantage points from where you can see Mississippi and Wisconsin river merge. Driving in this area itself is a pleasure for eyes. We will definitely go back again...Kunal & Parul
Made reservation for mandatory 2 nights, using only one (our wedding night). Told woman owner that we were leaving early, with no expectation of refund. Surprisingly, she says: "Don't worry about it. I'll adjust your bill, take the extra night off." Half hour later, man owner then says they can't do that. Then, while swiping my credit card, he turns his back and says: "I hate to charge you for both nights, but... I guess I have to." It may be hard to understand the depth of creepiness of this, especially when, earlier, after the woman said we'd get a refund, we said that we're nearly broke and that the refund would help greatly for our honeymoon. Again, creepy. Spoiled the whole stay at their establishment, and cast a pall on the next day or so, having flushed ~$150 bucks because the voices in the guy's head said he "[had] to." This place may be paradise for some folks, but we'll never be back, never recommend it to others.
